New Deposit Process

The State Treasurer's Office (STO) is implementing a new and, hopefully, more convenient deposit process.

First of all, thank you to the many agencies that have helped with the redesign of the deposit process.

This project consists of two phases; phase one of which has already been completed. Agencies have been given access to their own bank accounts and bank reports. For convenience agencies can now take their deposits directly to the bank. Additionally, more agencies have starting using desktop scanners, allowing them to make deposits from their own offices; which is a great benefit on cold and windy Cheyenne days!

Phase two of the project is well underway. Since May 2017, STO has been working with a technology company to streamline the deposits process to allow agencies to submit documentation electronically through a web portal eliminating the need to scan WOLFS 101 documents to STO. The new system will be able to directly compare the bank account reports with the WOLFS 101 for reconciliation. We are very excited to continue to work with agencies over the next few months to roll out the new deposit process.

Again thanks to our partner agencies for your insight and assistance.

If you are new to desktop scanning, please watch the scanner installation and scanning tutorial video in the side bar to the right.

State Agencies

The State Treasurer's Office is responsible for receiving money from all state agencies across the state and making sure there is enough money to cover all obligations. We have compiled all pertinent information pertaining to Wyoming state agencies regarding deposits within this web-section.
